Just a few questions from me.

Is a six cyl t5 from a ea-ed the same as a v8, other than ofcourse clutches, plates and bellhousing??

Is a ea-ed t5 6cyl box the same as the au 6 cyl?

Also ive been told that they will fit up behind a 302 clevland with proper belhousings ofcourse. So i take it the shafts all match up and would have no probs with tailshafts from xf going in?

The EA/ED six cyl t5 uses the same clutch plate and tailshaft as a single rail or toploader 4 speed. The v8 t5 has a longer input shaft.

I6 boxes have much weaker internals than the V8 ones. How long one lives will depend on diff ratio, engine specs and driver habits.
