imboyd Registered User Join Date: Nov 2006 Posts: 4	direct replacement differential? I have a '99 F-150 4x4. I purchased S918A as replacement for the 829A. The 918 is 9.75 ring with 3.55 ratio. The 918 is 9.75 ring with 3.55 gear ratio. The inside looks different. I can't tell if it's part of traction control or maybe overdrive.
