Hello, as above i think my clutch is draggin. When i put it into gear with the clutch pedal depressed, the revs drop. There is also a pitched noise that rises with revs on startup.

The only explanation i can think of is the clutch is slightly touching the flywheel even when fully disengaged.

Does this sound right? I just wanna confirm im on the right track before doing anything.

Any ideas on whats causing this? I just replaced the clutch and played around with the cable so its not that.

What a strange solution. I took it to 2 places and they were surprised, noone had seen it before. Someone mentioned the Idle Speed Control unit, and i decided to swap it over just for the hell of it since i was at the wreckers.
Hey presto, it solved the problem! I dont think the clutch is related to hte idle speed at all so i got no idea wat the hell happnend. Just one of those things i guess....
