Hey guyz, Ive just brought a new clutch for my EB for when i get around to removing the T5 from my EA and placing it in the EB.
Just curious as to how hard the diaphram spring thinggo's should be? I cant even push in these metal prongs.. how is the throw out bearing supposed to move them??

The throw out bearing has leverage as does the actual clutch pedal/cable setup.

The clutch needs a fair degree of clamping to transfer those neddies to the wheels if it wants to move 1500kg's of metal :)

Is this why the falcons have such a heavy clutch? coz of the heavy duty pressure plate??

unless a clutch is from a mini.. you shouldn't be able to move the diaphram fingers with your hands.

use my old tick of fitting clutches.. end of a plastic hose fitting.. screw off the orange adjustment thingy.. and whack it in :) not as good as a proper centering tool tho.
