As the topic says peoples, i am very interested in getting into a powerhouse ford once i sell my lil baby rx4.. (should be running nice low 11z in about a month :) )..

I currently drive a ZL fairlane (boat on wheels) and i want to get rid of that too..

My question is, does anyone know how many manual versions of the EB 5lt were made??

Or for that fact, how many of the EB S2 5speed 4.0L 6's came out??

One way or another, the next car will be a bit of a ball tearing sleeper (whats that.. blown ball tearing sleeper??

) and its only requirement from day 1 is that it MUST BE MANUAL!!!

Hey - Ask "Discovery" on this forum... she is flick from the ford discovery center.

I asked her the same question about ED XR8's... (only 36 manual ed xr8's were made in 1993 !!! cool eh!!)

Mate I'd consider an EA Falcon S as well - they are more common and not much different to the original EB. Then again, maybe I'm posting this in the wrong forum.

Regarding 36 manual ED XR8s in '93... very surprising. I would have thought that would be the number of manual Sprints sold if anything. But then again, the model was released relatively late in the year - around August or September if memory serves.

yeah yeah yeah...

ive already owned a TBFI EA..

the main reason i want an EB is that i want something a lot newer.. (current cars are a 1974 rx4 and an 85 ZL fairlane)..

I am mainly looking at the series 2 EB due to the much imporved 4.0L mpfi motor.. i know that the 139kw from the EA mpfi is good, but the EB is just that little bit newer, and i dont mind spending a few extra dollars this time to get exactly what i want.

the XE is too old now.. maybe in a few years, ill get one and give it some real horsepower, just like it always deserved!!!

i am mega lazy madeas and couldnt be bothered looking for a 5speed and pedal boxes and master cyl for the car :s6:

but yeah, if ive looked for many many months and still havent found one then im sure that will be one avenue..

i will have about 8k to spend on the car, so i should be able to find an ultra ultra clean EBs2 for that..

just gotta

to the gods and pray that someone is selling one when i want to buy one...

i might just save a bit more and buy an ef for 10ish if ive got the money...

i am horsepower mad thou, and id prefer to spend 7 on a nice car and start to build it up... (the age doesnt worry me of the car) more the quality of the starting package, and the EBs2 onwards seems to be the best building block.
