EB Clutch sizes

Hey guys i was going to buy a new cluch today for my EB spak series2 when i was told by the the guy at coventries that there are to different sizes depending on the size of my fly wheel i think the XR6 came with a bigger clutch.

I was wondering if any one would be able to help me on what size clutch my car would have in it going by what it would have had from the show room or if there is a way of telling with out dropping the gearbox off.

I get confused because of the introduction of the XR6 from S-PAK but bothe having S-PAK and XR6 badging and not sure if they are the same.

My car is an EB series2 S-PAK falcon it doesnt have the XR6 sticker on the back nor does it have a tickford rocker cover if they came with one that is.

Any help would be great thanx

Re: EB Clutch sizes

yours will use the standard EBII clutch , not a larger HD XR6 one. Make sure it is for a 4.0L and not a 3.9L EB because they are different sizes......

Re: EB Clutch sizes

Im pretty sure that the only differance with the Falcon and XR6 clutch's, was the Pressure plate, not the Flywheel.
The Friction plate is the same, the Flywheels are the same, its just the XR6 pressure plate has more clanmping force.

Re: EB Clutch sizes
