Hey all,

I got a problem with my 5 speed box in my Eb. The gears are good except for 2nd. when taking off it doesnt go in sometimes and when changing down it tries to pop out. Sometimes it crunches and other times it comes out easily...does anuy one no wats the go?

Adjust the clutch cable....also, make sure there is no sound dampening where the shifter connects to the rod in the box getting in the way and making it pop out....I had a similar problem when I had my 5 speed....

Sounds good to me....hope its that or ya looking at maybe a synchro or shifter problem!
