Can someone tell me if my fairmont came out with an LSD in it, I have been puzzled with it and arent too sure as in the subject it is a 92 EB II Fairmont

can someone help

Not sure about the '92.. but my '93 EBII Fairmont Ghia has a 3.27 LSD in it.

how can you tell ???????

it doesnt spin both wheels all the time, I was thinking that it was a bit worn and was in need of some new clutches etc etc

can I stick it on stands and spin the wheels and if they both bo the same way its an LSD ? Diffs just isnt my area

The simplist way to determine if the car is fitted with an LSD is jack the car up so that both wheels are off the ground, rotate the right rear and if the left wheel rotates in the same direction it's a safe bet it will be LSD. If the left wheel rotates in the opposite direction to the RHS it is not LSD.
I recently purchased a 5Ltr Fairmont and used the following link to determine various secondhand prices and it gives information on what options were available on release etc.
Follow the link below, select the model and engine size then "Specifications" (top left of the page) and you will find a list of standard specs and optional extras.
