EBII Falcon

hey,

im after some diff information, im new to this kinda stuff so please any information is welcome.

how much am i looking to spend if i change my EBII diff from 3.08 to 3.45?

wat will this do? will it improve fuel economy?

just any other information would be great thanks

WARNING; I am new to this stuff also but this is what I know, or rather think I know.

Cost from $300-450 at diff shop assuming it can be done (ie are there 3.45 gears that will readily fit?).

Fuel economy depends on the type of driving. You will rev higher at 100k, so I would say it would be worse highway fuel economy. Though, if you do alot of city driving your fuel maybe close to the same (lower gearing helps car get going easier). On the whole your fuel economy would be down I would think.

On the plus side you will get a better take off. But is that extra takeoff worth the money to change gears and the extra fuel.......hhhhmmmmmm. Thats for you to decide!
