ED V8 Auto Problems
ED V8 4 Speed Auto Problems
I have a ED 5 Litre with a 4 speed auto. Recently after towing a caravan the Auto started making a noise like a stuffed bearing and I find it most noticable when I back off the throttle. It still works fine but I was told it was stuffed and so I have purchased another transmission but have no idea how good it is . Is there any way to tell if it is good without bolting it in or paying some heaps to check it out and is my old auto worth fixing .I was told around $1200 to fix it ?? Any help greatly appreciated . Dan
