I realised the other day that I never wired in the clutch switch after converting my car to manual a few months ago. I am having problems working out exactly how to go about doing it.

The pedal box I have is from a EA falcon and has the clutch switch installed but the plug doesn't match any other lying around spare under the dash (well I can find any). I have 2 spare plugs that I can find under the dash. One I can identify and the cruise control clutch switch (red/green wires currently shorted out), the other plug has one brown wire and the other blue/red. Could this be the plug for the ECU?

Would anyone with a manual EF be able to have a look at there set up and let me know what you see. Any information would be a big help

The only clutch switch I was aware of on my XH ute(same as EF/EL) was for the cruise control cancel.

why would you bother to install one ? I did my conversion half a year ago and I use the cruise control quite a bit and never needed the help of the clutch switch, i basically never bothered with it

The car has been running without the switch hooked up, but I am having computer and tuning problems so I am trying to get everything sorted out. Last time I had the thing on the dyno to sort things out I was told that I needed to wire the clutch switch to pin 68 and earth. I was just hoping that there would be a plug under the dash that was wired for this purpose.

Did they give you a reason for that advise?

Nope. They said it was just something they noticed when they were working on my car. The wiring diagrams in my book dont show any wires going from the clutch to the ECU so I think ill just wire it up to the cruise control and leave it at that.
