mate of mine needs to replace the clutch petal and brake petal and backing plates etc in his ef guy told him 300 cause hes got to take the entire dash out is that true

If you only want to replace the pedals the no you dont have to take the dash out - just pull the pins of the shaft that the pedal sits on at slide it off. If you need to replace the pedal box then the dash has to come out (or at least be pulled forward) to undo the the three top bolts. It is a real pain in the ass job!!!
