EF box, yes
EF cpu - probably, but not sure.
afaik, I think you don't necessarily need to replace the cpu when going to manual, they just wire the auto cpu to think that the car is in neutral.
yeah, i think you CANT use the EF/EL Computers interchangeable.
from when Walkinshaw was putting the EF Interior in his car, he couldn't use the EF ECU, ended up having to use the EL one as parts just wouldn't work together.

To trick your EL ECU into thinking it's in Neutral - run a 7300 ohm resistor from pin 30 (pink/light green) to pin 46 (black/white).
The EF ECU is completely different, but will run an AU :/
