Depends how much power you want to work a 6, if it's up to 200kw at the fly then i say T50D is the go (the five speed in EF - EL) No worrying about band adjustments and Auto's are heaps to re-con or fix while the manual is just a fuild chaneg and clutch nothing else and it tough unit IMO.
But if you want to go over 230kw at teh fly then perhaps the Auto is a better investment. Cause the Auto will cope with a higher power rating and you won't eat clutch's like a few members here. Hehe Ask Laminge about that. :p :p
Not too sure about other Trannies in EL's.
