Have a 302 that came out of a e100 Ford van.
I put it in a cougar that had a 84 302ho motor in it With auto trans C5.
put the 1980 engine in and i have a vibation around 3 grand
Would it be weighted wrong!! (the flywheel) woody!!

Yes, it sounds like the flywheel. I think 1982 was the changeover from 28oz to the 5.0 50oz. Make sure you also use the correct balancer that came with the engine. The flywheel and balancer are a matched pair.
