FMX help, NOT PUMPING atf

Can someone please help me, i just put another FMX in, with a new torque convertor, new lines, and a new cooler, after the last box, filled with water on a flooded road.
Everything is put back as it come off..... 10 litres of oil, tail shaft fitted, gear lever connected to transmission.
If i pull the hose off the oil cooler, oil hasnt travelled in there at all.!!
I also put a new filter on.
HELP PLEASE

You will find if you leave the hose of and run the car you find out if it is pumping or not. Have you had the box rebuilt? if so it might take some time to get through. I did on my old one.

on a c4 there is a shaft that can be pulled out from the box ( that goes to convertor ) - maybe fmx has the same and it isnt in there

Just Rebuilt one a 12 months ago.

First question did you fill the converter with Oil before you installed it?

If not there is nothing for the pump to work with and you will get not oil.

Second Question. Did you have any problems getting the converter to engage with the shaft in the transmission when you reinstalled it to the engine.

If you did and nipped it up it is probable that you have cracked the pump. This involves pulling the tranny and getting a replacement pump ( hard learned and expensive lesson.

Cheers

I'd have to agree. Did you use the bell housing bolts to pull up the box? If you did? you've broken the front pump. It's a common mistake, not very expensive but it is time consuming.
