I have found what I think is a 3.23 diff, but the diff tag is gone, does anyone know any of the diff codes? I have wrote down all the codes that are on the engine tag, I know that one of these codes is what the diff is on the car. Can anyone help please?
I know there was a falcon website that had all this kind of info, it was all in a forum, but I can't remeber the url, anyone know?
Yeah but the plates on the engine have all the codes that the car has when fitted, it has all the techs of the engine and what features it was released with doesnt it?
Yeah a 2.77 I reckon if lucky, after that its a no go, I wanted to take an EA 2.77 LSD and merge it with an EA 3.23 SS and it was never going to work, so I hope that answers your question.

I did put something here, but it vanshied, I think
I know the 2.77 is not compatible with other ratios.
Here's my situation...
I have an EA rear axle (25 spline) that came out of the factory as a 2.92 LSD. I put a 4.11 gearset into it which was cool until I busted the LSD center. Now a really, really cheap XF LSD rear axle has come up for grabs, and I'm wondering if I can buy that axle, take the center out and put it into my EA axle? Anyone know if this is possible? The XF axle is definately a borg warner LSD.
