jaytyn Old Car:BA XR6 New: 97 EL Join Date: Feb 2001 Location: Australia Age: 31 Posts: 1,031	Friends EL Power problem Hi My Friend has an EL Fairmont, A few months ago the igition coil was replaced, as the car kept dying, this fixed the problem, but since the car has been gutless when its cold (even a while after the temp gauge reaches NORMAL). He suspects that the mech may have done something while trying to diagnose the problem. Any Ideas? Could the timing be out?
