just wondering fellas is it at tall possible to change the gears in my gear box, to different ratios as i would like qiker acc, or would it be easier to do a compleat box swap toa newer smoother better geared box

What box have you got?
Theoretically it's possible, but the chances are it'd cost a hell of a lot, unless you can find a few busted boxes with the same size shaft and the ratios you want...

Auto?
Manual?

Best bet would be to chat to a few gearbox reconditioners, they should know what gears are interchangeable from what boxes. If it's a manual, v8 Falcon manuals are rare as rockinghore shit, so adapting the gears is probably your best bet.
If it's an auto, my suggestion would be to put a manual in it, failing that a better diff such as a 3.45 or 3.77 should be the go.

Personally, I'd go for diff gears. Try 3.7s, 3.9s or even 4.11s. That'll get you accelerating quicker.

it is only the diff center that needs replacing right and what can i expect to pay for a center say 3.7 or 3.9
