wacka Registered User Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: Melbourne Posts: 38	gear selector surround the letters in the surround look all scratched and streaky and looks like crap when the lights are on..did the heat of the globe underneath cause this is it possible to fix

I had a look, its actually the thin coating of plastic or paint or something that is cracking and peeling, apparently with the heat of the globes, or age? I will probably just scrape the rest of it of, get it looking clean again. Cheers David
