82falcon Registered User Join Date: May 2003 Location: Sydney Posts: 158	Gear stick rattle Ive come across a problem recently in my 4.1 XE 4spd - at full throtle and above about 2500 the gearstick rattles quite a bit. is this a sign that its on the way out? The gears dont slip out or anything, but it is getting a bit harder to shift. Also, its has a fairly lumpy cam in it and the gearstick moves a fair bit at idle, but doesnt rattle then. Oh and when it rattles it doesnt move. Any ideas as to what the problem is would be appreciated
