If it were me I would go for an auto.. I just cant be bothered driving like a nutter and rowing between gears.
If I want to scare myself I'll jump on my motorbike, which is way scarier than any car ever will be..
Thus I would go for a new electronically controlled 5 speed auto like in the commondoors or similar.
You can get controller kits now and all you need to do is just run an electronic speedo sender, which often is integrated into the new trans..
But I am just running a B/W type 35 with type 40 internals, all rebuilt by a drag trans specialist here in Adelaide. He said it should be good for my engine. I'd stick with factory, and if im going to do something custom, then make it crazy custom :)
