The arch nemisis of any falcon driver I reckon, the gearbox.

I'm resigned to the fact that it might be on the way out:

The problem started off small, like some sort of power loss, it even felt like it was going into lock down gear, but now it's worse it definatley feels gearboxy.

It must be electrical cos when the gremlin disapears i get lovely smooth shifts and the car still hammers, but when it is there, the gears slip, sometimes up sometimes down. And when in power , the power light flashes off then on (but not continuous flashing).

I also hear a relay clicking, but it's not coming from the fuse area, but more like under the stearing column. When the relay clicks, the slip occurs and the power LED goes off then on.

It hasn't happened when idling in park or neutral, only when moving.

Can anyone give me insight into these strange going's on, especialy on the electrical side of things. It's getting to the point where i won't drive it so I don't do more damage.

Greg: is the only one that I would recommend, re Transmissions and comes highly recommended by others involved in the Drag racing circles.

I had my C-6 built by Greg some eight years ago and when just recently serviced is still like new.

Greg used to own Currumbin Transmissions to which he had an outstanding name in the car scene re transmissions etc.

That's the way they should have been.

Thanks for that. I have it in the shop at the moment, if it comes back same or they can't find the problem I'll contact Greg.
