Unsure what is going on, the gearbox is hard to get into gear when stationary, I have lifted the clutch pedal to get more travel but it hasn't made a difference. I think it may be a dodgy spigot bearing gripping the input shaft slightly, causing it to continue spinning.
There is no problem when the car is moving.
Has anybody had this problem?
I need to fix it before the missus breaks the gearstick.

If its first thats hard getting into when stationary - try putting it in reverse then first.

If its reverse thats hard getting into when stationary - try putting it in first then reverse.

Have you checked your gearbox oil - as in if it is filled to the correct level and if it is the correct grade of oil? Different grades and/or the wrong type of oil can make it difficult to change gears.
