Having trouble getting into Drive

Hey everyone. My c6 is taking a while to get into drive when I first start the car. It will "catch" momentarily then slip out again. Does this four or five times and it does it more and more each day. When the car "heats up" there are no more problems, until I start it again. Could I just be low on tranny fluid? Any help is much apprecieated. Thanks again. Corey

Viagra !!!

I would drain atf out and fill with correct fluid if you are unsertain of whats been added over the years...My old FMX/ X.B G.T... used to do this sort of thing with G.M type fluid even just alittle...I figure the fluid level is full and correct dip stick etc...
