Help to ID rear axle

hoser1 Registered User Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 1	Help to ID rear axle Hey guys, Newbie here. I have a couple of rear axles that don't look anything like the ones I see in the axle identification charts. One is from a '66 continental and the other came from a truck but they look like the same diffs. They are rear loaders with 10 bolts. The bolt pattern looks lika a Dana 44 only bigger. There is a casting number on the top reading 53-4 and on each side on a web is C32698. There isn't a tag. These numbers are from the one out of the Continental. The other one is hard to get to but the diff cover and bolt pattern are identical. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Dan
