Rando Registered User Join Date: Jun 2007 Posts: 6	Help Please - High Pitch Whining Sound While Accelerating 2000 Exp, 188,000 miles I have noticed this week a high pitch whinning sound (almost like bees buzzing) when I accelerate, espeicially from stop position. Sound seems to go away when I take my foot off of the accelerator. Doesn't seem to make the sound when the car is in park or neutral and I push on the gas. I have not notice dany other real problems with transmission or gears shifting.
