This isn't for my car, for a mates :-D (happy it's not mine for once)
Something to do with a clip or something on the top of the pedal broke and freed the cable from both ends. Anyway, we fixed it all up and took it for a little drive and it seems that the clutch isn't coming all the way out, like the cable is too short or something. This is keep the clutch like engaged all the time.
Theres no adjustment at the ends, on the clutch end there is just a steel ball which sits in the throwout lever and on the other end theres just the clip which goes over the pin on the clutch. So if I understand correctly the clutc wont disengage as in cant put chutch in to change gear? Or its slipping madly?
Actually for the clutch to be slipping, if it was the cable thats the prob, to cause the slipping it would be too short. In that case, wind the 'bolty thing' out so the threaded part is taken in more. Oppisite to what we did on yours :s3
