Spoke to my service manager steve at Bayfords (coburg) on Monday morning and the good news was that my gearbox has arrived and waiting to be fitted so things are looking up at Bayfords. Now l wont have to change dealers now that l am happy once more.

Chris, they rearly had to do this, the box cannot suffer that amount of damage and be expected to perform to what it needs to be. Well done, Ford have shown common sense with this finally, but as usual it took a big fight and alot of mucking around, but the end result was right.
