kick down cable
hey, I've got a 87 crown Vic wagon, it is the 302 5.0L with the AOD when i shift i takes way to long to up shift excess nose as well, have already checked fluid lever its good. once its in gear it fine i was told a while ago its just the kick down cable and it just needs to be lubricated......(it needs to be replaced however i was told it would be over a $1000 in labor cuz tranny had to be dropped) is there any way to lubricate it or change it i have full access to a shop, how hard is it? do you know where to locate it? any help would be greatly appreciated.
