How do i tell if my xd fairmont series 2 4.1L has an lsd?

If it helps, it is really hard to spin the wheels from a stand still but when it is moving it can swing the back around better (easier and wider) than my mates vs commo and eb fairmont who manage to only get one wheel going..... is this normal for a xd?

just do a burnout. if both wheels spin then its an LSD. if tarmac is too hard try and find some concrete

Is there a badge on the diff?

dunno but an easy way is to chock the front wheels jack up the diff so both wheels are off the ground, have it in nuetral with the hand brake off and spin a wheel by hand. if its an LSD the other wheel should spin the other way. if it isnt then only the wheel you are turning will turn.
this will take you 5 minutes to do at most.

Thats wrong davway, if the other wheels spins the other way it is an open center. Using that technique, if both wheels pins the same way, then it's an LSD. If one wheel stays stationary or they spin opposite directions, its open diff.
