Recently I purchased a Dyneer "Truetrac" LSD Centre for a Toyota diff project I have underway currently. For those of you who don't know, the Turetac LSD centre is a geared/Torsion LSD centre. I'm now looking for one of these styles of LSD centre to fit into a BW78 diff, does anyone know of any other make torsion LSD centre that suits the BW78 diff, and do they have part number to suit?

I've contacted the guys in the USA that I bought my Toyota centre from, and after been given the run around for longer than I care to admit, they've finally come back and said they don't have a listing for the diffs I'm asking after.

Now like a dog with a bone I've asked more questions to find out they do have a 7.5" 28 spline centre that they fit to a GM product, but they've failed to reply to my emails for more info on boltup and specifications.

I'm looking to move away from the cone style factory LSD setup, as it doesn't last long enough for my application, particularly when subjected to heat, who has any other ideas?

I need more info that that please, as I have it from the horse's mouth that they do not produce a centre for the diff I'm referring too? I'm specifically chasing a centre for the late model style Borg Warner diff with 28 splines and a 7.5" crownwheel setup, can you give me any infomation for this application? Links, part number, ...?

im not sure on technical details, just that a diff place in Adlaide informed me that they had a shortage of BW trutrac's indicating that they sell them. PM, GMDestroyer

im not sure if he has a truetrac or a lock-rite center? the one he has is a detroit locker equvalent - off the gas, its an open center, on the gas its a complete locker.

thats not what your really after though is it? you just want a different type of LSD?

Yep, I want an LSD not a locker, though the centres are made by the same company (Dyneer) so that would make for some confusion when talking about diff centres.
