I have a 1974 TC Cortina. Its got the 250 pre xflo, bw 3 speed auto, 2.75:1 (I think) single spinner. Its on gas and is otherwise completely stock. It will remain stock for the next 3 years. Would I notice a difference if I got this converted to lsd (assuming its even possible)? How much would a shop charge? Do you think its worth it?

first of all thats a nice looking corty, it would be worth while converting to LSD, but unless your confident in your abilities i would have the conversion done by a professional, i played with putting a lsd in my borgwarner diff a few years back 3.5 LSD was fun but it didn't last long behind the V8

Thanks, and I recon its even better now too. I have removed the rear demister, removed all badging, removed tow ball hitch, removed black strip from bumpers. Although there is some panel damage on the front that will be fixed soon!


Why? Will I get a better launch? Any other advantages?
