M5OD transmission weight?
Looking for details on the weight of M5OD R2 5 speed transmission, as found in the early 90's thunderbirds. I'm considering using it in a project car, but want to figure out my weight budget. I was originally considering the T-5 transmission with a newer 3.8 engine, but might be able to get a decent deal on the supercharged T-Bird engine with a manual transmission.
For that matter, if someone has details on the engine weight for the SC model, it would be appreciated. If the information I've found thus far is correct, I'm probably looking at about 430-450lbs for the engine?
