I have done a search on auto to mnual conversion, but there is nothing helpful in any of the threads

I have an EL Fairmont, and want a manual. Can any one please help with what needs to be done to convert from an autoto a manual

Any help is appreciated

Thanks for those links, but they all have conflicting advice in them (its easy / it's too hard, need a new computer / the auto comp should do it etc). I'll have to talk to a few places around brisbane and find out a bit more advice

try a place like Mal Wood Auto, they do alot of conversions.

ECU. Just to clear things up a little.

The auto ECU will run the car with a manual, however, there may be some idle speed problems.
Save your self the trouble, and spend the $50 on getting a manual ECU.
