I'm writing this thread optimisically if there will be a reply.
I want to know what gearbox i can bolt up to my x-flow six that can have the shifter on the tree. Its going in an 67 falcon and i would like to keep the bench seat. I was hoping to bolt up a single rail 4 speed if i could. Please can anyone help!!
i went to the wrecker and asked him what i'll need and he said i could theoretically put any typ 4 or 5 speed but i'll have to put on another linkage arm does anyone know who can do this in Sydney.
u sure u want a manual column shift? they r god damn hard to drive ... i belive some of the yank cars got manual column shift and bellhousing to suit the 6donk are easily modified ...
yeah i've drive with it on the column for a year and loved it. And the aim of the car isn't extreme horsepower just a cruzer. It's also something different something people are afraid to do, be different. I'll check out some yank cars thanks for the help.
yeah but will the standard 3 speed take the power i'm guna generate. What can i do to beef it up. Or how i can fit a 4 speed shifter on the tree, any help will be greatly appreciated.
