Mustang Diff

My XP has a mustang 8.8" differential. Can anybody tell me if these are LSD or just standard?

Re: Mustang Diff

Units fitted to Mustangs usually are LSD. Ford called them Traction Lock, and they use a clutch pack in the centre, much like the 9-inch diffs used - actually, these diffs replaced the 9-inch.

Re: Mustang Diff

I have the 8 3/4 mustang diff still under my mustang... and it's an open wheeler. LSD's were an option, and the standard diff can be converted to LSD.
