In regards to mounting, which Falcon and which Mustang diffs are the same or interchangable?
I believe XR - XY is the same as '67 - '69 mustang? What is the same as '64 - '66 mustang? Early Falcon, eg XK - XP?

My '66 Mustang has the 8" Ford diff, I know the centres are swappable out of the XR range, But what about the housings?

Not sure about the spring mounts, but I have some figures on the width of 9 inch diffs.

65 - 66 Mustang 57.25"
67 - 70 Mustang 59.25"
XR - XY Falcon 59.5"
