my borg

i have a borg warner diff in my xc.the car used to be a 6 but a 302 was dropped in it. the only tag on it reads 3.23. i know its not a 9". any ideas what it may be? and will it handle the v8 ok? any other ways to tell what sort of diff it may be. it has drum brakes and cover plate on back of housing.

The guys at Yukon Gear & Axle may be able to help you out as they specialize in axles/diffs/pinions etc!
