hi guys seems my car loves staying at fords instead of my place heard noise in gearbox which sounds like it has a loose exhaust manifold which turns out to be maybe a broken tooth on second gear after being told as driving home it seems to be a diseased box as the other gears forward and reverse are catching the same noise only goes away when you push the clutch in so it maybe the imput shaft has noise even when in neutral so will find out exactly what is wrong monday will post findings then also box damage maybe caused by so much backlash will wait and see what happens

OH WHAT, another gearbox problem, yours is actualy starting to give mine a run for amount of hours at the workshop, that is not good to hear, have you still got the car, or is it in already. I did hear that sound eminating from the box, its not good, sounds like it has got worse today after we spoke. Keep us posted to whats actualy happened.

hey adrian spoke to ford today they said it could take a month or more for parts to come in as they wont replace with new one and no loan car provided as all booked out till next month (very stressfull time as only picked car up from fords on wednesday night) car goes in tomorrow so will find out monday whats wrong and how long
