If it is a manual pedal box and it is clicking which you push the clutch pedal in (pedal box is cracked) then it is common. Usually caused by using a worn out clutch cable which puts a lot more pressure on the clutch mechanism. If this is the case also check the port in the firewall where the cable goes through because it will probably be tearing and need welding/reinfocing as well.
I dont know of any problems with the auto pedal boxes.

The metal on the bracket has torn completely away the clutch has slid off and the clip that holds the clutch pedal on has broken. I have to put a new box on and change the bushes and rods to suit the new EB falcon box which involves a lot of labour, I think its because of the heavy duty clutch thats been installed. I have no choice but to upgrade to the EB box because the EA box's dont get made anymore, the EBs box is slightly different, the people doing it wont weld it and say it doesn't need reinforcing because its a new part, do you think this will be ok, sounds a bit dodjy to me.
