hey im currently building an ea gl 4 speed auto into hopefully a bit of a weapon,i will be running a 3.7 lsd and want to drop the auto for a 5 speed but am debating wheather it will be worth it as pulling the dash out is a bit of a task to change the pedal box.Can the pedal boxes be changed without pulling the dash out?if so how?Also i will be putting an el block in probly from an auto as manuals are somewhat rare,will an ea flywheel bolt up to the el motor and if so will it affect the crankshaft balance at all or should this combo be fine to run together?

Ive changed pedal boxes arround on ea's before and you dont have to pull the dash out. I think i had to take the steering wheel off and drop the steering shaft down on to the seat for access. sometimes the steering wheel can stay on.
