hey guys my pinion bearings in the diff are noisy, if i keep driving the car will it affect it any more and/or possibly damage anything else too? im curios to know as the car needs tyres and i dont know which one i should do first. it has been whining since i put the diff in, its not THAT bad but i dont want to damage anything else. Thank in advance guys.

a busted diff pinion bearing wont put u into a tree. But bald tyres will.

Very true Walkinshaw, there will be about a month between the two, like if i change the tyres now a month later i will do the pinion bearing and vise versa. Will i damage the pinion bearing?

I'm gonna be an idiot for a second... What type of noise do they pinion bearings make as my diff is dying, clunking from time to time, whining... you name it, it's got it.

well my old diff was clunky and noisy and gooone too so the main reason i changed diffs was for that reason. it just constantly whines as your driving. if your not a car freak you wont even notice it although to my understanding it gets louder if you keep driving it... possibly more damage???
