mmessiah Registered User Join Date: Jun 2005 Posts: 1	Please Help...I Used The Wrong Fluid!!! I just changed the tranny fluid/filter in my 99 Ford Windstar, but I used 5 quarts of Dexron 3/Mercon instead of Mercon 5. Total capacity is ~ 12 quarts I think. I drove it a couple of miles to check shifting before I noticed the wrong fluid. Is it okay to drive to a shop to get it flushed properly? Any info is greatly appreciated!
