I have a 1986 5.0 5-speed with a cracked block. I have installed a 1971 mustang. I have been told that the earlier one is a 28 oz, and the 86 is a 50 oz. I have also been told that I need a early model ( pre 83 ) flywheel which should be a 28 oz. 157 tooth. I CANNOT FIND ONE. Every parts house that I go to cannot verify the weight, and half cannot verify the tooth count. Can someone please help me, this is the only thing that I need to have the car running again!

86 will be a 157 tooth 50 oz, pre- injected stuff will be 28 oz, tooth count to suit your b/h. What engine is the f/w actually going on?
