pumpkin angle

I have gone through 4 rear end u joints in 6 months. I do alot of off road ... but this seems excessive. Does the pumpkin and the transmission have to be Parallel?

Re: pumpkin angle

greetings Gary
a uni joint can handle an angle of around 15 degrees but from your post it looks as if you have raised your car & that would have changed to pinion angle, you can but wedges to fit between the diff housing & a leaf spring if you car is coil spring equipet you may need to look at re-positioning the upper trailing arms
