Yea well, stupid stuff happens. Now my car wont shift until about 4500 rpms. Its an automatic 95 explorer. I have no idea what wrong but i'd appreciate some help.
You put the auto into reverse whilst travelling at 100km/hr ??? If that was true I'd say that you screwed your auto , sorry I can't get more technical than that I don't know much about autos... some guys will give you some more info hopefully...
mate stalled his car (auto..don't know how he did it) whilst moving...very loose column shift- its really easy to skip gears...so went for N and ended up with Park....was doing 60kmh.
It didnt really do anything...kinda grating noise but all still A Ok. The whole thing works properly still...weird...
same here
Nothing happened, other then the car wanted to come to a complete stop, only doing about 60 at the time though. Was there for only half a second though.
Cant believe im admitting to this but ive done that on my T5 at about 45kmh when i thought i was selecting 4th. It made one hell of a crunch , i dont think it actually went into the gear tho.....but it all seems to work now..
