If you are only loading the centre there shouldnt be any issue. If you are changing the housing, it is wider.
The centre is the same as the XF onwards...8" crown. Used to be borgwarner, then Eaton and now Dana
yeah if you used AU wheels it would be OK - but you cant fit AU wheels to the front because the wheel offset makes the top of the wheel/tyre hit the upright. :S
