I have an ea manual transmission from a 3.9lt multipoint wagon and want to put it into my el falcon (sedan). Do I buy an el clutch and flywheel or an ea clutch and flywheel. I have rung a few places and I am getting conflicting answers. I asked the forum a few months ago with no response, and am just hoping someone who has completed this or similar conversion could help me out.

does nobody know the answer to my question? Or has it already been covered, because I cannot find it in previous threads.

basically you'll need the EA falcon clutch disc and the El falcon pressure plate and flywheel, to do this you'll need to find the measurements for the clutch disc for both model falcons, if they are of the same diameter then the job is much easier, the spigot bush should be the same but you'll need to check the throwout bearing as well
