Hi

I have just installed a ford 9" diff with a welded centre. My Engineer wont pass it without I change the centre so I am looking at a Detroit Locker (sussed out a couple on Ebay)

I have Mosbey 31 spline axels.

Problem I have is that I am not in anyway a Ford expert and it appears that there may be several typres of Detroit Lockers.

Some say 'H' pattern, others say 'B' pattern etc..

How do I know which one will fit my Diff?


Any advice much appreciated.

hi, please somebody must know what I am asking and can help... else ill end up getting one that doesnt fit, which is usually my luck :(

they both fit provided they have splines for 31 spline axles

If your engineer is that smart, he should be able to steer you in the right direction....it is possible he will pass one and not the other...seek his advice!
